Little Darling

She was an older woman

And he was her little darling

He made her feel so good

She wanted to be with him

as much as she could

He was full of charm

She would hug his arm

She felt that she had found the answer

In her sweet younger partner

But soon he began to borrow money from her

To pay for this, that and the other

First he needed a loan to pay his rent

He was expecting a cheque and would

    repay every cent

Next he wanted another loan

This time it was to pay for his ‘phone

Then she learnt of his other lady on

    the other side of town

Whom he was treating in the same fashion

She told him to go away

The loans he must repay

In court he said the money was a gift

The judge declared “Judgement for the plaintiff”
