DE BUSINESS BUSS
Nobody knows what time de business opening
Nobody knows what time de business closing
Papa over de counter leaning
Mama in de back giggling
Children watching with a distant stare
They thinking about drinking out de drinks from de refrigerator
Up and down in de cash pan dey always want a dollar
Family and friends supporting de business
But no cash strictly credit
When it is time to pay
Ah coming back another day dey say
Ah have to do meh hair
Ah will pay yuh next year
Plenty creditors, Plenty debtors
No profits, only losses
Good Lawd, de business buss!!
